The colour is deep purple, nearly black, very dense yet with a vibrant, lively shine. The same vibrancy continues on the nose with intense dark fruit, blackberry and violet aromas that follow through on the concentrated, mouth-watering and refreshing palate, which has great structure, power and tension, but also elegance. A delightful cool climate Malbec with a long life ahead yet with irresistible drinkability as a young wine.

Unlike our Pinot and Syrah Naturel, which are bottled within 8 months from vintage, the Malbec Naturel matured for an additional year in used French oak barrels. The colour is deep and dense, almost black, and the nose continues with the same intensity and dark fruit concentration that follows through on the palate. This is a “high-octane” Malbec in every aspect from the colour and aroma purity to the striking varietal expression on the palate, all within the wine’s excellent structure and tannin support, combining power and elegance. This wine will age superbly for at least 10 years but can already be enjoyed now with strong flavoured food.

Richly fruited and intensely aromatic, the wine shows blackcurrant, dark plum, flint and mixed spice characters on the nose. The concentrated palate displays terrific fruit power and opulence, brilliantly structured by loads of fine grainy tannins. Mouthfilling and firm with a bold structured finish. Certified organic. Dark purple hues with an opaque core and ruby purple rim. Aromas and flavours are as powerful as the appearance suggests – boysenberry and wild plums, tart raspberry and cola, black currant and violets. AN abundance of ripe fruit tannins and savoury earthy core are soaked in the core fruit flavours that stick to the palate like glue. A really delicious wine with power and flavours, caressing fruit tannins and a bold acid line. Youthful and well made with the best drinking from the start of summer 2023 and through 2027+.
